There are churches that are saying some of their Masses in Latin again. I just googled in my area and found some.

My store had sea bass, so I bought sea bass instead of cod. I used the bass to make a fish broth soup, with herbs and veggies. It's so light and lovely, it felt physically cleansing as well as spiritually cleansing for Ash Wednesday.

For some reason, eggs feel *heavy* to me. But I think I will make some egg-and-tuna salads for Friday lunches. It'll just be easier to carry with me. Maybe I will use a vinaigrette instead of mayo, so that it will feel lighter. I don't want a *heavy* feeling on fast days. Just me, personally.

My mom was from Puerto Rico and she lived at a convent school until she was 15, so maybe she did remember the Latin Rites!

My godmother is from Belize and she says that, although they have the vernacular Mass, they always kneel for the Host.

I made LindaSue's tuna casserole III with cauliflower on Wed. It was good and have enough left over to have it again on Friday.
