Atkins Frozen Dinners
Has anyone tried these and are they truly low carb? I bought several today and they are going to be my mainstay due to my sched. I just want to make sure that they are not "frankenfoods"?

I like them you can tell they are real foods (at least the chicken alfredo one) and they don't seem to cause stalls.

They are pretty good, they are still working out the kinks as far as portion sizes are concerned....some were loaded with beef, other just had sticks of beef..etc...they are for the most part an added value--I think-- to my lc diet...hth

I have eaten them occasionally as a lunch at work (I work at a grocery store so it's convenient and more delicious than a can of tuna) They didn't seem to hurt me but I didn't eat them regularly. I think I recall seeing a questionable ingredient in one of them like modified food starch or something like that. I don't remember which one I saw it on. Can't say how well eating them every day would work. They do seem pretty low though and it seems like most of the carbs in them do come from the veggies. Worth a try I suppose!
