Bathroom question
Can someone explain why on day #2 I've started getting stomach gurgling and then have to run to the pot. 3 times today, always about 30 minutes after eating.
I'm drinking ok, the foods are the same as last time. I'm clueless. Thanks! |

I did that before I had my gallbladder surgery. It is called Dumping syndrome. Notice any undigested food in your stool at all? It looked as if the food I ate was dumped directly into the toilet undigested.

That happens to me if I go off plan for an extended period of time, then get back on track. Usually takes about a week for things to normal out for me. I was in the same boat as you on day two, for sure!

No sugar alcohols. I sure hope it's not the gall bladder, although my sis had hers out, hubby too, that's what he thinks it is. I'll go with the change of diet, I hope it goes back to normal soon!

That happened to me too, and went away after a couple of weeks. I think it was just the change in diet.

For me it's caused by my blood sugar reducing to more normal levels. It's normal and will subside in a week or two

wow, same thing happened to me the first few days or maybe even a week. Now I have the perfect poop. I don't know why, but a guess would be that it has something to do with a) the liver adjusting to the amount of fat consumption and ketosis, and b) ketosis has a diuretic effect and your body has not adjusted to this.
But these are just based on my wild guesses and not necessarily science! Just make sure you drink a lot of water until it balances out so you do not get dehydrated. |
