At the aquarium last night I decided to go up the stairs (equivalent of maybe 3 flights) while my SO was retrieving something from the car, so that I wouldn't be breathless when we started. I was thinking I could pause at the landing, but I didn't need to. I wasn't breathless! at all!

I can tell because I gave away 8 bags of clothes that were too big.
I feel like a kinder, gentler image of myself.
I had my wedding ring resized to a 5-1/2.
I can cross my legs.
I can tie my shoes without having to lay my leg on my bed to reach my shoes.
I have energy and walk faster.

I can zip my pants up while I'm standing now. I'm no longer cussing at the clothes dryer for shrinking my clothes.

I can relate to so many of the ones you all have listed. Besides my clothes fitting much looser my big breakthrough moment was seeing my collarbone and how it made my shoulders and all that area sexy looking.

I have been noticing that men are more flirtatious with me. I have more confidence and I definitely get treated with more respect--I don't know if it's because of how I look or how I now behave!

Yes that! LOL!! Plus all of the other things people have said. Clothes fit looser, I have more energy too and at work I'm always moving, twirling in my chair and sometimes I just stand up at my desk.

I just noticed this today!!! My pants are dragging on the floor, they aren't loose enough to fall off or anything - so how is it that they've gotten longer? They are dragging the ground!

My clothes are finally too big! Down 3 sizes and counting. Started in women's 20s and was able to get in to some of my 14s and mostly 16s now. Such a great feeling.

And also good that I am a hoarder and haven't thrown things out that I couldn't wear!

Wow that is great! I went from size 24 pants to size 12/14, shirt size from 5x down to some med and some large. I'm still going down too. I've seen too many changes to count or mention!

Love this thread, hope it keeps going!

First, I was rushing through Walmart, and I noticed my legs were rubbing togther in a different way. Then I sat at a table on a wooden chair, and my (very short) legs reached the floor (or at least nearer). Then different older clothes begin to fit again. Lately noticed my arms fit down my sides closer. And agree with so many of the other posts listed above. It's so encouraging, thank goodness, because no one but me has noticed. A minimum of 5" off my waist, but only I know about that, they don't see it yet. (I didn't measure until I was into this about two months, so it's probably more.) About five months into this now, with higher fats and moderate protein instead of high protein. Lost NO pounds, our very vain previous measurement. Years ago, I would have given up by now, but with the above indications, I'm.still.here!!! Don't give up, especially if you are doing a newer form of LC as found on the boards here. Replacing fat with lean body mass = pounds staying the same in general. But that does not indicate no progress.

Yes, that! That was one of the things I noticed too! My whole walking posture changed and my bones realigned themselves when my thighs and hips got smaller. I bet you walk differently now too.

Had to get my "skinny clothes" that were packed to give away back out to wear. And they are getting too loose! Also noticed the wedding rings are getting loose and am now able to wear a mother's ring again that my kids gave me several yrs ago that has been put away.

This morning I was trying to figure out my clothes and found myself frustrated because eveerything in my closet is starting to look dumpy! Time for new, more fitted, clothes. I have a long way to go but my theory is that the better i feel in my clothes, the more motivated I am to keep on truckin. (or, maybe just a way to rationalize shopping!)

I wore too small 46 waist jeans before LC. I wear 34's now and I don't think there has been a day since I started wearing that size that I don't have a feel good feeling about being able to wear them. Shirts too. I was in 3x headed to 4x and when I wear one of my 1x or Large sized shirts I always feel good about it.

Ya can't have too many feel good moments in my opinion

jsut noticed this one yesterday, thought the giggly teen girls would pass me by but I guess I wasn't overflowing onto the next seat because they both sat down in adjoining seats to mine and we all fit, with out being squashed together, no awkward adjusting going on.

Also my neck is less chubby and my double chin is distinctly smaller.

yep, this one too! I did that the other day without thinking and realized that they were not my comfy sweat pants that I wear at home, but were my work pants with the zipper and button.
