Today is Day #1 yet again. But wow, you get in a bad routine and just keep doing it without thinking. I don't like that!

I have never struggled with obesity or true metabolic dysfunctions, so I don't feel really qualified to advice any of you who are making this huge effort, but bearing that in mind, maybe a strict jumpstart phase would do you some good? Something like the eggs-and-meat fast, for a set number of days. It would be a nice challenge and could get you back in the groove of things.

I made breakfast last night for the family's dinner, I also had the bacon and eggs and without thinking, I ate a biscuit with gravy.

That was my problem when I restarted in May Gibbs. Eatting the HC stuff was second nature and I had to really make myself pay Close attention to what I was doing. Huge Hugs!!

Maybe you could make yourself a daily menu plan and stick with that? Off to the side I make myself a little box and put what the whole family is eating. Then, on my side, I just pick out what I can eat, add my carbs up, and it's easy peasy. If I always have my binder handy just in case I need to look at it again during the day or tweak something.

It's really ok. You ate a biscuit with gravy and you are recognizing you are not happy with your routine.
Change your routine and do some self talk when you are in front of your food. My mind is always talking! "You don't need that right now, that carby food will make me feel tired, another day down the road I'll have that, I'm not eating that kind of food for now. I'll fill up on veggies. I'm doing so well, let's not mess things up."

Eat some good food today, take a walk, and breathe.

I was doing so good yesterday, then in came the donuts this morning and I have already eaten 3, yep 3 of them.. that stupid break table sits right next to me and donuts are my weakness.. so now what do I do, just not eat for the rest of the day?? hate when I do this to myself. trying so hard to get back on the wagon and eat right.

No, carry on and eat if you feel hungry, just make sure it's on plan. Forget the the donuts happened, just get right back to low carbing/your plan. You can't change the past, but you can plan for the future.

The best thing I ever did was clean out my fridge, freezer and cupboards. I simply didn't have anything I wasn't allowed in the house, especially for those first two weeks.
