Books & herbal teas

Just a quick one to share what's helped me tackle my wine habit and subsequent wine buzz eating thereafter.

I got given an iPad a few months ago & ever since I've become a book NUT!

It's just too easy, find book on Amazon, download to iPad, ten seconds later start reading.

As an ex TV lover I now hardly watch any because I am addicted to lying in bed reading and drinking herbal tea.

I've noticed watching TV seems to stimulate my cravings for food & alcohol (probably because that's what people are usually doing on the shows I like) whereas I don't associate reading with wine/snacking!

Just thought I'd share

I've been addicted to books for a long time, but have recently become addicted to teas (including herbal teas) from the David's Tea company. If you want to explore new flavors, check out the website. I find it easier to avoid desserts when I can drink teas flavored like red velvet cake or vanilla cookies with cream.

I'm glad you've found something that works and that you enjoy, Aussiegirl.

And you can't possibly run out good books to read for the rest of your life.

and if you don't have an iPad, an ereader, or a lot of money, don't forget your public library! Ours has almost anything you could want and can get what they don't have from another library if you ask nicely...

I think of my library card as a credit card where there is never a bill!
