help!

I ate half a bagel this morning (maybe a little less)...

What would you do for the rest of the day? Meaning what would you eat as I KNOW I will be hungry.

canadiangirl 02-06-2013 07:04 AM

Stay very low carb and eat good high fats to stay full and keep cravings at bay... lots and lots of water. Don't use it as an excuse to blow the whole day.

THANK YOU VANESSA! Blowing the whole day has been what I have done in the past-can't wait to go home and make some bacon.:)

canadiangirl 02-06-2013 07:58 AM

With any luck you may even be able to stay in ketosis!

Vanessa is right! And Yay for you for not letting this slip derail you!!

The way I see it, it's like falling off a horse. You get back on. Maybe you try to figure out why you fell off, so you don't fall off the same way next time. But you don't need to make up for falling off.

Fit in some extra exercise (even just a walk), drink extra water, stay strictly on plan the rest of the day, and congratulate yourself tomorrow for not getting derailed by one little slip.

How did you manage to eat only half??????? Seriously, not that bad--- just stay on plan the rest of the day.

^^^This! I'd also add in a supplement to help kill cravings. 5-htp is working incredibly well for me right now to obliterate carb cravings.

First ....get rid of the other half.
seriously. Even if their are carb eaters in the house. THAT bagle is YOUR bagle so can it.
After that all you can do is zero carb for the rest of the day.
Then look up the nutritional value of the bagle you ate and tell yourself
"I wasted my entire daily carb allotment on THIS?????"
Telling on yourself is a good thing.
