Ketone sticks ad ketosis
I been it ketosis now over a week
But just wondering why some mornings first thing when i use the ketone sticks it stays the same color no change than after a few hours of getting up or lunchtime i test again and fully in ketosis 2nd darkest color? |

Maybe because you ate a lot of fat, which will also increase your expelled ketones and thus make the ketostix darker?
I don't like using ketostix, I find I obsess over them and they are not accurate IMO. The times I did test in the morning after waking is that I had a trace amount, and later in the day after a fatty LC meal, they would show moderate. I think it's to do with the fat you consume... |

The color is irrelevant as long as they show the presence of some ketones. The sticks show you that you are excreting ketones in your urine. For the most part this means you are in ketosis. Unless you are out of ketosis and just dumping the remaining ketones in your body.
Test once a day, max, and stop worrying about the color. |
