Morning all.
Breakfast: Atkins choc chip day break bar. Lunch: Thick slices of ham with lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, red pepper and ranch dressing. Dinner: Hamburger patties from McDonalds with cheese, bacon, lettuce, onion, tomato and mayonnaise. I might treat myself to a fountain Diet Coke from Maccys as well – who even misses the fries?! Not me! Snacks: Peperami, babybel if needed. Plus at least two litres of water and a berocca. |

Morning, good Monday, if it can be good.
Morning meal: 3 eggs scrambled with butter Evening meal: albondigas (Spanish meatballs) and a salad I'm aware it's not much food, been sick the last few days and still waiting for my hunger to come back normal. Last edited by PaleoRainy; 01-28-2013 at 03:44 AM.. |

Happy Monday! We had an ice storm so everything is encased in ice. No work for me and no school for the kids. It is always much harder for me to stay strong on days when I'm stuck in the house!! Need to get my butt on the treadmill. When I work out in the mornings I have less cravings for some reason.....
B: coffee with HWC, 2 deviled eggs L: portabello mushroom pizza with sausage, ground beef, salami, green peppers, onions and mozzarella (since I went to the trouble of prepping all the toppings, I will be eating this a lot this week) D: same as lunch. :-). Love my portabello pizzas!!!! No snacks planned today. Will have deviled eggs or avocado slices if necessary. |

Had a lot of trouble sleeping last night.........weird for me
I gave up on sleep around 3;30 and got up and dressed. I've been really hungry which is really weird for me as well (particularly before about 11 AM). so far I have had 3 small bites of PNB and my pills. Trying to tough it out. so I have no idea what I will do for eating today. I have a steak thawed out and have some canned broth I also have some tuna and some salad stuff, so will post when I have better control of my brain. My brain wants ice cream or toast. Those 2 items are NOT on the menu, that is for sure!

Hi all! A fresh restart for me today after being off for awhile. I lose so slowly that I lost my momentum and got discouraged. This time is different because I know my body is healthier eating LC because all my health markers (sugar, triglicyerides, chlosteral, joint pain, etc) improved. (Can hunger be a health marker? lol) I am trying to keep that in mind when the going gets tough! Nice to see all the menus and the great stats; inspiring and encouraging!
Breakfast: Coffee, CO, and cream Lunch: 6oz. pork loin (with crusty fat-yum!) 3/4c snap peas 8 cherry tomatos 1 small cucumber Snack: 2c boullion (left over from the roasted pork loin! so good!) Tea Dinner: Homemade Seafood Alfredo Zucchini 'Noodles' Lots of water and unsweet, hot tea all day! (I especially love the seltzer water from TJ's; it is like crack to me. lol) Have a great night! |

Morning snack - 1 scoop chocolate Vega, coffee with HWC and sugar twin
Afternoon snack - 2 cups chicken broth with rosemary, oregano and pepper Dinner - grilled flank steak marinated in faux mojo sauce, also a huge salad (like four cups) of romaine, cucumber, green pepper, onion, olives, tomato and feta cheese drizzled in oil and vinegar and spices. Second dinner - probably green bean "fries" (or maybe ham slices with cheese) and a diet coke. haven't decided how ambitious I feel yet. OR MAYBE 4 jalapeno "poppers" a la Linda Sue or possible some cabbage fried up with bacon. Last edited by thealything; 01-28-2013 at 06:34 PM.. |

I have those days I have to white knuckle through, and they SUCK! I drink more tea and coffee, put ACV in my water, and wait... and wait...and keep asking myself, and I really hungry? Do I NEED to eat? Can I wait 10 more minutes?
Loading up on the liquids really helps me, but I still struggle like hell on those hungry days too. ![]() Quote:

How would you feel about plugging all your foods into a tracker and seeing if you are hitting 100% of your vitamins and minerals? I would personally add a bag of spinach (1/2 at breakfast as omelet, 1/2 at lunch) and reduce lunch to 5oz chicken. |
