Do you have to be high fat low protein to be in ketosis?
Wondering what ratio of fat and protein some of you are on?
Do you you need to be 75 80% fat to stay in ketosis if not how low in fat are some of you that are still in ketosis?
No, you can starve yourself, and be in ketosis. NOT recommended of course!
Also, I would not worry about ratios if regular induction works. If you stick with induction type LC foods and not purposefully stuff yourself/overeat, you should really be in ketosis...
Ratios are something you can play with if all else fails IMHO...
My ratios are anywhere between 65% and 85% fat... It just depends on the day and what I am eating... I try and stick to higher fat, as I feel better on it. I also don't overeat on protein, as it's expensive and I believe that excess protein is not necessary.
This is just my opinion, and it works for me. Each body is different.
