I use a few drops of peppermint or spearmint essential oil in my water bottle - since I drink water all day, it helps to keep the ketobreath at bay.

Carry sugar free gum and or breath strips...and carry a bottle of water or a sugar free beverage...I find the breath is worse if you get a dry mouth.

I think most people find it to be temporary. As the body settles on its new fuel mixture, there are fewer "waste" ketones to remove.

thanks for all tips, it's interesting that it could be temporary;my worst nightmare, about that, it's to be like one of my coworkers, who, unluckily, has often a bad "sweaty" smell....and all of us try to avoid him.......

I thought I wasn't going to get it this time. But today is Day 10 and I have Keto-breath big time. Bummers because I find sugarless gum stalls me. Part of the problem is that I don't know that I have it and therefore don't know when I need a breath strip. Every hour, on the hour? lol
