carbs main daily meal
I normally just have one meal a day and two small snacks which might be some something like a few olives 4-5 etc per snack
Doing it this way i have all my carbs in that one meal as i tried doing it spread out over more meals but i find i get hungry and eat too much so i prefer to have a main meal instead of snacking all day. Today i had 5 olives for lunch and nothing till dinner which was 250g of prawn wraped in 250g of bacon with a salad which was 1 avacado 100g spring onion 100g cucumber and a spicy capsicum dip in total just over 1500 calories and 17.9g carbs 2nd snack will be another 5-6 olives etc. ![]() ![]() Just wondering if this is too much carbs for one meal as my Blood Sugar is around 6.2 6.4 trying it bring it down as i read some mention 6 to 7 carbs per meal but as i said im only doing one meal a day and with more meals i end up snacking too much and too many calories. Not sure how to have less carbs as the meal is not huge as im a pretty big guy and the salad is pretty small average size etc. |

Well, if your blood sugar isn't under control eating this way, then yes it's too many for you to have in one meal. In general, the number itself isn't extraordinarily high, but it's not working for your stated goal, so it's time to adjust.

I think it's ok. It's what I do too, I have a morning and an evening meal but morning is usually just protein so all my carbs end up in the evening.
As the above poster said, if you do not have a problem with diabeters/blood sugar then it's ok. |
