Chicken Broth Question
 

Why are there carbs in Chicken broth?
Even high quality broth at TJ's has 1 carb per serving.
I get it boullioun, because of processing, but boxed / canned broth?

Most broths are made with veggies (onions, carrots, celery, etc) and some of that transfers to the finished product.

Yes, most of them have added sugar, which really irritates me. I prefer to make my own broth, but sometimes I need to buy it.

I found an organic chicken broth with no carbs. Slightly more expensive, but very good!
