Actually, I just need distractions from cravings!!!

I am in a biggest loser contest with friends, and that has really been great motivation for me to stay on track, no cheats, back down the 8 lbs (in 2 weeks) I gained and lost the last few months!

However, now I am pmsing in a big bad way and I have had terrible cravings for carbs, while I also feel sick of all low carb food. Basically, I just want to eat carbs.

There are 2 dozen bagels in the fridge. You see, I am housesitting for my parents and they left me all of this food I am supposed to eat. The bagels are untouched in the freezer and they are really not that good anyways, but last night I was sooo hungry and nearly went for them, and then the little angel on my shoulder got me to eat some beef and cheese instead.

But then I had this dream that I ate tons of bagels with cream cheese, and lots of other bready things, and it was a very real dream.

It seems very difficult right now!!! I am in the middle of nowhere and I don't want to throw out the food because my parents will be back soon and someone can eat them, but I need some words to keep me strong! I hope that after my pms goes away I will not have these cravings. The weird thing is that when I am not low carb, I barely eat bagels. pasta was my thing. Now, I don't crave pasta at all, only bready things. *sigh*.

I had a really great lunch of steamed seasoned shrimp and an alfredo sauce with peppers and onions I made.

I've heard that eating a dill pickle will help with cravings. Sometimes we just have to white knuckle through times like this. Maybe try adding more fat into your diet. I know that for me a fat bomb will instantly take away cravings.

I'd try the pickle. Maybe go out for a walk to get your mind off it?
