It's MONDAY! What Are You Eating Today?
Today is a snow day - yay! I'm actually very relieved as I would have been terrified driving with Charlie in the car!
A quick question - I had a coffee with friends yesterday, the shop had no sugar free syrups and no splenda so I had to use sweet n low - I know it's bad health wise but is it low carb? I found it a bit odd that the first listed ingredient was dextrose... it didn't spark any cravings and my weight is still going down so I'm hoping it was ok as a one off. Gonna have to buy one of those little splenda dispensers for these situations. Breakfast: Two eggs scrambled in butter with smoked salmon, lemon juice and black pepper and a coffee with double cream and dulce de leche da vinci. Lunch: Prawns mixed with mayo and paprika, lettuce, cucumber, onion and tomato. Dinner: Pork tenderloin with a mustard cream sauce and buttered asparagus - saying that, I'm almost out of cream and I'm not going out in this weather so it might have to be just pork with mustard lol. Snacks: Peperami, babybel if needed. Plus at least two litres of water and a berocca.

Good morning. Wind chill advisory. Poor PJ and Poor Pat...........LOL
Amber, I have no idea about the AS you asked about. I usually count 1 carb per packet of any AS. I decided to only weigh on Sundays. The scale has great power over me and I want to give it less. B eggs/scrambled with crumbled bacon L Sm salad w/ some shrimp D Steak and mushrooms with butter S? 1 oz smoked gouda cheese |

Thanks MsWoods and Patkid, that's good to know. Went a bit ott though, I used 4 packets in my large coffee! But I missed lunch so total carbs would have balanced out lol. I almost always use sugar free syrups which are zero carbs so I'll know for next time.
The snow is melting but it's still bitterly cold and icy. It is fun, I went out sledging and built a snowman but the novelty has worn off now, I would like things back to normal please! |
