I LOVE CANNED GREEN BEANS! - Page 2

Aside from the problems with canned food, I like my green beans to be less 'soggy'. They are no draw for me. Fresh or frozen are my preference. I used to hate green beans until I tasted fresh.

My favorite is fresh or frozen tossed in olive oil and garlic salt and then oven roasted. Some people call them 'ugly fries'!!

I prefer frozen. The taste of canned green beans just always seemed 'off' to me. I haven't had them from a can in years. Or any other veggie. I just like the taste of frozen better.

I could literally live off of green beans. I love them any way, canned, frozen, fresh, boiled, fried, mixed into soup. Definitely one of my favorite foods.

w/o butter. I usually get frozen. Now that I will be retiring(in 24 days), i will get more canned veggies...but not asparagus. THAT

THAT MUST be cooked from fresh. I have never seen (mercifully)canned broc or cauliflower. Perhaps, i wasn't looking for it. Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI
