I don't get to eat them all the time because of costs, but I love steak and grilled shrimp. Yum. My favorites.

Chicken followed by beef, duck, turkey, goose, pork ... and pretty much everything else except for lamb. Can't stand lamb!

I think that is why I don't like much seafood. Everything is frozen at some point before it hits the midwest and it really affects the texture.

1. Pork (chops, roast, bacon, sausage)
2. Beef (steak, roast, ground) 3. Eggs 4. Shellfish 5. Chicken (last and least in my book) If I could find rabbit readily, I'd eat that or lamb instead of chicken. Not a chicken fan (read: product of the generation where my parents bought stock in skinless boneless frozen chicken breasts from Costco PriceClub Sams Club and then didn't do any favors by just grilling it with no seasoning.) |

As a recent bariatric surgery patient; 1) whey protein isolate, 2) eggs, 3) chicken, 4) greek yogurt.
Before: beef and chicken. Beef is delicious! |

I think I like most all protein though there are some I just don't eat much of and never buy.
I live alone so I don't have to come up with all sorts of different meal ideas to make others happy. I pretty much rotate grass-fed ground beef, chicken breast & wild-caught salmon for dinner. I eat eggs for breakfast. I've never gotten tired of any of these although there have been a few times I thought I might sprout fish scales! ![]() |
