first 2 weeks done

Okay, so first 2 weeks back here and lost 9 pounds. yay. My hubby lost 19 in th past 2 weeks. I find I do really well when hes on it too because I feel the support. So I am glad its a together thing. I have been around a while (2003 i think was first time) I sway away from the board when I am not being good LOL. Anyway I am being good again and hoping by June to drop 60 pounds. I know it seems like alot but who knows, maybe I can do it. I havent cheated at all. Im turning 40 June 17. And in Augts it is my 20th wedding anniversary. So I want to lose weight to feel good about those milestones as well as getting healthier. I loved these last 2 weeks.

My family doesnt follow me on Atkins but, since I cook, they eat the main things with me - I just add starches and stay away from them.
I lost 8.6lbs (with TOM the last few days) and am very happy for this!
I plan on doing another week of Induction but adding a small amount of nuts. My birthday is just a few days before yours and really would love to be at least 180 by then!

Good luck to you, Tracy, and to everyone!!

Congrats on the good loss the last two weeks. You're right in that it is so much easier if your partner is also eating LC with you. Remember in a week or so you might have a couple of weeks with no weight loss. This is natural and your body adjusting and something you just have to get through before you start losing again. Good luck and stay strong.

Congrats!! We have a lot in common! I also am at the end of my first two weeks and I just turned 40 last month. So far I've lost 12 lbs ( but 10 of that was the first week). I still have about 50 lbs to go. I am hoping to lose it by June when my hubby comes home from a year long deployment in Afghanistan. It is nice to have things to motivate you! Good luck and hopefully we can both be successful by June! :-)

Yes we have lots in common!! I know we can get to our goals. you will shock your hubby with your new weightloss. I will hopefully be going on a cruise the end of June and would love to feel comfortable snorkelling and jetskiing.

your goal sounds like mine. I got to a 10 days trip to the beach in Florida at the end of May. My goal time is then also. I have to drop 6 lbs. per month to achieve it.

you have until June to lose. 10 lbs per month is a bit steep cause you might stall a bit as we all do but guaranteed you will have lost a great bit by then and will be more comfortable!!!

stay strong! we will all get there!

you're doing so good, Julie. are you keeping a journal? i'll pray for you, too.

Tracy, you've inspired me to set a goal for my 30th wedding anniversary on April 19, i want to be normal weight by then, 140 for me. that's only 5-6 pounds lighter than i am now, but i'm hypothyroid and perimenopausal, so that's plenty steep a goal for me.
