This site just amazes me!

For years now, maybe 10-12, I have visited and revisited this wonderful website. It's been a comfort knowing it is here when I need it. I just wanted to take a moment to say "Thank You" to those who keep it up and keep it so supportive of those of us who are on this path to better health and weight loss.

I'm wondering just how long some of the 'oldest' members have stuck around? I see names and posts from lots of old friends. Then there are those who I miss.

This has truly been a very successful site. So many have come and gone. But, I would truly miss it if something happened to this 'family'. Thanks for all you do.

Gosh I started here Years ago, lost weight, fell off the wagon and gained it all back Plus a lot more then found my way back here and i'm planning on staying here! Lol

I've been around forever and wish I'd stuck with it as well. I even remember one of the famous scandals, but won't give her site traffic by mentioning her by name.

I joined back in February 2000 when it was called Atkinsfriends. I was was a chatter back then and rarely posted on the bb. In 2003 or so, I went awol but would occasionally pop back in for support. Happily back since Oct 2009.

I started LC in Jan 2001, but didn't find the Atkins Friends website until June that year. For a few years around 2005-2008, i would pop in sporadically. This past year I have been back regularly.

You are right, this is a great group of people!

I just noticed I became a member ten years ago this past December. I too come back and forth. I am doing well again so I am here every day. Hoping I will remain doing well. Love this site. Always have

I've been around a while, too. Lost all the weight in law school, graduated, carb creep started, then got cancer, got divorced. Lots of major life events! Gained all the weight back, now I'm back and half way to being at goal again. I'm more of a reader than poster.

Been here, left here, came back, tried JUDDD, did Atkins twice....I wish I had stuck to Something in the low carb relm when I first discovered this site.

I also started way back when it was atkins friends. When they changed the format my original join date and post count got lost in the shuffle. I've been active off and on since the beginning. This site has always been a great source of information and inspiration. And at times, a LOT of high drama...

Yup been here for 10 years and I guest visited a while before I registered wander how long its been up/ Best info and recipes. Go to you tube and see peeps pirating the recipes on here and claiming them as their own and other folks thanking them for it grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

I lurked for a long time and then joined and still lurked and then finally started posting. I really need to come here everyday for the support it gives me. I had stopped doing that and found that I started slacking off on a few things. I love it here because even if you only lose a pound people are happy for you. So, a big thanks to everybody for the wonderful support!!
