I recommitted to getting my health and well being in order this year starting in July. Since then:
I have lost 107lbs
Dropped from a size 26+ to size 18
Have a cholesterol of 129
My doc decreased my thyroid meds for the first time ever.
I can move around much easier and have much better coordination
I now have many inches between my belly and the steering wheel and inches of belt left over on the airplane seatbelt.

In 2013 I plan to have as many successes and am looking forward to seeing what they will be.

Stats: 241(pregnancy highest)/175/150(or 20-25%BF)
WOE: LCHF/NK my way
Start Date: Feb 2012
In 2012 I was at my highest weight ever at 241 pounds(pregnancy). After giving birth in Feb,I have lost 48 pounds so far.(granted some pounds were water weight)
Then I was on a long stall that I finally decided to break with a Fat Fast and then the holidays came....I have today managed to lose all the holiday gains and back on the horse now.
So
-lost 48 pounds
-lost all swelling
-no colds last year even with a houseful of sick kids!!!!(I used to have like 20 colds a year plus sinusitis)
-went from xxl tops to L and sometimes medium tops
-went from elastic maternity 3XL waistbands to a tight M(8-10) pants
-not comfortable in jeans to a size12 jeans
-committed myself to a LC WOE for life.

now for 2013,
I would like to
-lose another 50 pounds and reach goal weight
-maintain it
-go to size4s,6s,8s
-look fit and healthy
-get back into an exercise program that I postponed for 4 years due to a sports injury
-start weight training and workouts back into my routine(I am eyeing Jillian's Shreds, kettle workouts, yoga and even a 5k
-get THE family on board too.

WOE: 40-100 g net carb, HF, IF, whole foods freak

in 2012:
- i got a proper diagnosis for chronic condition, and learned to manage it with a no-grain, moderate carb diet. hallelujah!
- i made a commitment to regular, moderate exercise for heart health, and kept it. i walked 100 miles in July and August.
- i had surgery to repair my left hip, so i can keep walking until they plant me.
- i lost 10 pounds in the few months between my diagnosis and the surgery, and managed to maintain the rest of the year.
- i started a new career, and did not allow myself to gain wait or stop exercising.
- i spent 4 months in rehab for my hip, and have slowly built my walking endurance up from 1/8 mile to 2 3/8 miles.
- i dropped another pant size.

it was an up-and-down year, but i did not take my eye off the prize. if i keep at this pace, it may take me three more years to reach my goals. i don't care! as long as i don't quit, i will get there.

i'm on my way, and there's no stopping me in 2013!

I lost 40 lbs and even though I gained some at the Holidays, still 30lbs down. Got off my b/p and cholesterol meds completely. Feel so much better.

Back to some mild exercising too ! Pilates and walking ......

I finally reached and passed my original goal of 145 and am close to my new goal of 125. I've gone from an all time high size of 20 down to a perfect size 4. I couldn't be happier. And I feel like a million bucks!

I lost 30 lbs in 2012

Went from size 16 to size 10.

Went from no exercise to walking 10,000+ steps a day at least 4 times a week.

Go to a gym during bad weather.

No illness since April 2012 when I had a virus.

I turn 65 this year and BP is 115/70, cholesterol is 158
HDL (good) cholesterol went up to 67
LDL went down
Sugars are 88 fasting

Doctor is happy for me

Tried yoga and hiking.

I hope 2013 brings me to maintenance - 15 lbs to go

I feel better than I did 25 years ago!

I don't eat sugars and grains but do eat lots of beautiful veggies, a fruit, terrific proteins and dressings.

Thank you, God!

Got in the 100s (high 100s, but 100s). First time in about 7 years. This after 2.5 to 3 months low carbing. Now I am well under 200 and even if I have a slight water gain one day I am not going to see that high number on my scale ever again. It's a good feeling.
