Down 100lbs!!!!
I made my goal to be down 100lbs by January 1. I still have a long way to go to get to my ultimate weight goal but I have no doubt that I will get there this year.
During the last six months I have done a lot of work on dealing with my mental triggers for overeating having to do with stress and emotions. In the past I have been able to lose weight with eating LC but I do not do well keeping it off when a highly stressful situation comes along. Now I am using every tool available and feel like I am laying a good foundation to be successful with long term weight loss.

You have lost roughly 4,100 (and a half) Oreos' worth of body weight. That is pretty darned impressive.
Why yes, I did Google how much an Oreo weighed. And, being the internet, of course there was someone who had already asked it and someone who had already figured out what a single cookie weighs. What I'm trying to say here is that you're awesome. |

Congratulations. I too find emotional eating a problem, but I am determined to overcome this obstacle and realize that feeling terrible after indulging did not help the situation.

100 lbs... My 8 year old weighs almost 60 lbs, and my 5 year old weighs close to 40. So, if I were to pick them both up at once and tell them to hold on... that's how much less you weigh!
Here's the thing: When we lose super-fast, it's generally a "diet" -- and we generally go back to what we think of as "normal" eating, afterwards. And gain. When it's taking us this long to get down to "goal", we're fundamentally changing the way we eat. You're going deeper, and dealing with the way you handle stress. All of which means, quite simply, that you're busy giving yourself the tools to make this a PERMANENT change for the better. Congratulations on losing two (small) people's worth of weight! I can only imagine how much better your body must feel, NOT to be carrying all of that! Here's to continued success in fixing yourself, from the inside out, to produce a healthier, happier Frankie! ![]()
