My Wal Mart now carries Ez Sweetz!!!

It's located by the Splenda. I paid $5.98 for a 1.05 oz bottle. I hope they continue to carry it. I really do love it for my morning coffee.

Deb79fl 01-01-2013 04:12 PM

Excellent! I have always wanted to try it! Suggestions on use in recipes?

spoiltmomof2 01-01-2013 04:16 PM

I've only used it in coffee and tea. IMO it tastes really good and sweet with no aftertaste.

A'smommy 01-01-2013 04:41 PM

Awesome! What part of Texas was this in if you dont mind me asking? Im in the Dallas area.

jhbyrd 01-01-2013 04:42 PM

Yep I bought 2 bottles!! I use it in anything you would use splenda (etc) in, it tells you on the bottle how to sub it.

shelby'snana 01-01-2013 06:25 PM

thanks !

spoiltmomof2 01-01-2013 06:32 PM

Just bought a generic liquid sweetener called "sucralose to go" at my local walmart.
Cost was less than 3 dollars for 1.68 fl oz. I was looking for liquid splenda, or ez sweet but this was the only liquid sucralose they had.
They did have liquid truvia, but I have never used truvia so I stuck with what i know.
it tastes fine, and a little goes a long way.

ebonyeyz28 01-02-2013 08:38 PM

Seriously?!?! I'm going to check my southern Cali Walmart tomorrow because I typically order 3 bottles at a time!! :o

So is EZ Sweet (or any of the others mentioned) better than Splenda? Why?

I believe it is because the powdered splenda has "fillers" which have carbs, where as the liquid splenda does not. If I'm wrong someone will "help" me out :)

I have a small bottle of liquid stevia from a previous attempt at Atkins and didnt know/remember about the fillers.
So I guess I should keep the packets to when I go to a restaurant for the tea and stick to liquid in house...?

jhbyrd 01-06-2013 06:53 AM

The ez Sweetz bottle is small, you could carry it with you in your purse just as the packets. EZ has no carbs!!

rats! I just got back from WM and I was so happy to find the atkins meals wish I had seen this thread be4 I left but really I cant live at LCF:lol:

I picked up the "liquid sucralose to go". Is this considered liquid splenda? Looks to be by the nutritional info. They also had liquid truvia and monk fruit, but no e-z sweets. This taste much like the liquid splendex I was using before. It says one squeeze is equal to a tsp. of sugar. I wish they'd put exact measurements so we know how to use it in recipes better.

omgtwins 01-06-2013 02:08 PM

jhbyrd, Just 1 packet of Splenda will last be through two LARGE or 3 regular glasses of ice tea and I have ta get rid of what I have ;)
jm23, I agree - your squeee might be different than mine

That's exactly right, John!! :goodpost:

I saw it the other day, I think I'm going to pick up a bottle for school. Our on-campus coffee shop doesn't keep splenda, and I don't like the other sweeteners, so that would be perfect!

debkeversole 01-07-2013 09:06 AM

i got some today! and seems good to me!

avid 01-07-2013 12:25 PM

the sucralose to go is a pain because of the squeeze instead of drop measurement. I mean really, how do you measure a squeeze???
The good news is that I have been using it about a week now and I time two quick squeezes for the sweetness level I require. It's pretty much a no brainer at this point.

Went to Wal-mart in South Florida today and no EZ sweetz...bummer cause I've been using the powdered Splenda. Anyone around this neck of the woods see it anywhere?

I did...they only had the liquid one of sachirrine (probably spelled that wrong)
They did have the monk fruit extract, but I forget the name of that stuff. There are plenty more Walmarts around though. Maybe another one will have it. Thanks for your reply.
