My bf ate the pasta bake one on saturday and he liked it. Wasn't much pasta in it. He has a big appetite but the meal held him over. We didn't feel like cooking so I threw it in the microwave so he would have some food in his stomach and it did the trick.

I finally also just found the chili con carne for the first time and got one, haven't tasted it, and I also found the sesame chicken finally which is the one I really wanted to try.

I had no coupons and at $4 each they really broke the budget this week. I mostly got them for bf so he could have something healthy to throw in the microwave when I'm not there.

Just finished the Sesame Chicken Stir-Fry for lunch. It was very good, and very sweet. I would be happier if it were a bit less sweet. The sweeteners seems to be raisin juice concentrate and sucralose. This meal has the same large, flat green beans that are in the Italian Sausage Primavera meal. Atkins must have bought a few truckloads of them!

So my bf has eaten a few of these and I tasted them. The chili con carne was pretty good. It needed more salt for my taste but overall a great freezer meal. It was quite a bit of food as well.

I barely got to taste the sauce in the sesame chicken but I didn't think it was too sweet, I thought it was pretty good. BF liked both of these.

He had his second pasta bake last night and said it was much much better than the first. Everything was spread out evenly in the tray and there was more pasta and cheese than the first one. The first one was kind of just a pile of ingredients and I only saw 1 noodle lol.

He is really enjoying these.

He also said the farmhouse style breakfast scramble taste like the inside of a McDonalds breakfast burrito, which is what I said also.

I tried the Chicken Marsala and Chili Con Carne this week as well. I thought both were good. I wish I had brought some shredded cheese to work to add to the chili though. Haven't tried the pasta bake yet, maybe tomorrow.

Not that I noticed!! Was it in a separate package? Mine was just all red chili in the bowl...I didn't see anything cheese like in the main bowl at all.

Chili Con Carne: Premium USDA ground beef, tomatoes, green & red bell peppers in a hearty chili sauce topped with Cheddar cheese.

I just looked at the one I still have in the freezer and it does have cheese on it! I swear the other one didn't but I imagine it did...

I also tried the pasta bake today. It was pretty good, even with only about 5 pieces of pasta. Still seemed really "carby" though as I don't each too much tomato sauce any more and I haven't had wheat in a long time. So I'm not sure I'll get that one again, even though I thought it tasted good. Just doesn't seem "right" for a LC WOE, even though it is low carb. LOL.

I go by the frozen dinner aisle waiting for them to go on sale each week so I can use my coupon LOL Maybe next week. I still don't know which one I want. The only one I've had was one of the breakfasts w/chorizo I think.

Just don't buy the meatloaf. That is the only one I will NEVER buy again.

OK! I thought the one with sausage looked good. Or the chicken pot pie?

I like both. I probably like the chicken pot pie a bit more, but the sausage primavera is a bit more "filling".

the sausage one seems to taste like chirozo. Some people didn't like the taste. Just a heads up.

It doesn't taste like chorizo to me, and it is also a lot less fatty than chorizo. It doesn't really taste like Italian sausage either, which would make more sense given the other ingredients.

I really like the sausage primavera - I add some parmesan cheese to it and it is vey good. It does have italian sausage in it. One of the breakfast bowls has chorizo. I like that one a lot, but not the other B bowl as much. I'll have to go back to Walmart to see if they have any of the new ones.

The thread is so long that I've only read the last couple of pages, but something to keep in mind with any Atkins product...

I am very carb sensitive so I can't deduct the fiber because it absolutely makes the difference between me losing/maintaining or actually gaining. If you don't deduct the fiber, some of these meals are extremely high in carbs.

Well, I finally tried the Beef Merlot. It was good but I added some extra veggies to bulk it up. It was on sale so I got it for $2.50 with my coupon!

They have these at my grocery store I almost bought one the other day but $4 for an unfulfilling small portion, I passed, and I thought it might be more broccoli and broth than meat, when I opened it.

I bought the chili one the other day. Mine had cheese before I cooked it, but you couldn't see it afterwards because it melted into the chili before I took it out of the microwave. That might be what threw you.

I bought a few more tonight for those nights when I'm alone. Tried the Italian Pasta Bake or whatever it is called. I'm so ingrained in low carb that I cannot even try the pasta in it, whether it is on plan or not. The sauce was so so, the sausage was good. I will not buy this one again

These are on sale again and i have another coupon so I might get one. I did not see the orange chicken but will check again later in the week. I might go with the crustless chicken pot pie.

Thanks for the info about the orange chicken, I see there are several new varieties. I will see if my Walmart has any this week.

I liked the Meatloaf, the sausage primovera and the beef merlot. I LOVE the turkey (i had it this evening).

Did not like the sesame chicken. At all.

I keep a few in the freezer for when lazy beats hungry.

That is a great statement!!

I bought a bunch when my Kroger put them on sale AND some had coupons in the package. I bought all the ones with coupons, then cut the coupons and bought the ones I wanted with the sale price plus coupon

I *still* can't find these! Wal Mart here does not have them, Stop n Shop does not, and despite what the Atkin's site says, Shaws does not have them. Is Boston boycotting Atkins meals or visa versa?

I would go to customer service at Stop and Shop and ask them why they don't carry them. Usually, if you speak with a manager (they should have a frozen foods manager, general manager, etc.) they will order things that customers suggest.

I found all 6 new meals at Walmart today and bought one of each. Prices were pretty good, plus I had coupons for 4 of them. I'll try them when I get back to work on Jan 2.
