where did you lose it first!?

I was looking to see if anyone had theories of what part of your body loses the weight first! I have lost 60 lbs and can see it very much in my face, but am dying to see the gut start going. Is there any prevelant theory about what order you lose the weight in, and where you should start seeing results based on BMI?

I've lost 10lbs and oddly enough I've seen it in my rib area (above my belly button). Before I kind of sloped out to my gut, but now I have a more defined upper area. I really want to see progress in my thighs/butt though since I'm very pear shaped.

The first time I went low carb, I lost about 30 pounds, and I noticed quite a bit of fat loss in my thighs and butt. This time around, I've only lost a few pounds so far and can see that my face looks thinner, less bloated. My biggest problem area is my midsection, so I would kill to see it shrink. When I lost weight the first time, it shrank, but very slowly. Unfortunately, it seems that the biggest problem area is the one to go last and (if you're not careful) gain back the quickest.

First on, last off, generally holds for me. So places that bloat up quickly, like my belly and face, thin out noticeably first. More stubborn deposits, like back fat or inside of my thighs, those are slower to depart.

In my face and my butt. Unfortunately I carry all of my excess around my middle and it's the last to go. All of my pants are baggy in the seat but still snug around the middle even after losing 20 pounds.

My face, butt and thighs. My pants got baggy in those areas first (butt and thighs, not my face) but was still fitting "perfectly" arouond my waist, meaning not too snug and not too loose. I cannot WAIT to loose my lower tummy! It has been my bane since the beginning of time it seems!

Ribs and thighs are where I've noticeably thinned out. Seems all the weight I have left to lose is in my lower stomach and back lol

I notice it first in my face, belly and boobs. My butt, arms and thighs are my main problem areas and seem to take longer to slim down.

I think it's more Last on, First off, isn't it? I was slow to gain weight in my upper body, after I continued packing on the lbs to obesity, but have always carried extra in my thighs and glutes. I'm already seeing a difference in my shoulders and arms, and face after only approximately 10 lbs. I absolutely HATED the bloated face and upper body because I'd never had a problem with this area, so I'm glad to see it go first.

This is my experience. Upper body lost first, the area between my bellybutton and knees was dead last. When the booty started shrinking I thought a miracle had happened.

I have a very round face with a slight chin, so that even a few extra pounds immeditely causes the chin to completely disappear. This makes me appear heavy even if I'm only a few pounds over. So, I'm glad when my face thins down. Belly is next. However, waist takes forever. I am close to 20 pounds down (now normal BMI) and still wear the same size pants.

I think everyone is different in this regard. I lose first from my hips, butt and thighs, then from my face, then from my lower abdominal area. The last place I lose is the chest/back/waist area. I'm an apple, and the chest/back/waist area is the first place I put it and the last place I lose it.

Face went too fast causing people to ask if I was well. Even though I continued to lose, my face sort of stabilized and filled up again. Weird. Then upper body, even butt and belly. My thighs/hips however are still holding on for dear life. They will go too!
