Trying to get back into ketosis
After my cheat on Sunday I'm trying to get back in ketosis. I'm so hungry and I'm eating more fat than normal in hopes that it will help me feel full, instead it's causing me to have indigestion and feel sick to my stomach. This is normal right and surely I should hit ketosis by tonight right? This is day 3 of 20 carbs or less.

It's different for everyone, but generally three days is enough time. Good luck!

What kind of fats are you eating? PUFAs will cause what you are describing.
As far as ketosis, everyone is unique so the key is to eat right and be patient. |

Exercise (of course light, since you're not keto-adapted) may help drain gycogen. Make sure you're getting enough minerals as well. You may very well be in ketosis, but your body probably needs time to adapt. Indigestion might be from too much protein (vs fat ratio). Be a little mindful of that as well.
That's my guess. Good luck! |

Any ideas on how to make the indigestion and nausea go away? It really is quite bad this morning.
