Anyone fixed a lower belly pooch?
Hi,
Has anyone had a super flat stomach with a big lower belly pooch, and corrected that? How? I got my blood report yesterday and everything was normal except a noticably high WBC count. Could it have a relationship? Thanks. |

All that occurs to me, in terms of the high WBC count and belly pooch, is that maybe your spleen is swollen, as part of the symptoms of an infection. Are you feeling very tired lately (possible mono)? Is this lower belly pooch something that you've had for quite a while (months) or is it new?
If the lower belly pooch is a longstanding issue, I'd try spot reduction with advice from a personal trainer (you can hire people by the hour relatively cheaply through the Y), or I'd look for core/abominal/bellyfat focused exercise DVDs on Amazon and see if those helped you lose some inches. Also, how big is "big" for your lower belly pooch? Can you share measurements (waist versus lower belly)? Maybe what you are observing critically is the natural tendency of women to store some fat in the lower belly--part of what gives women "curves." Looking at models in ads and actresses on TV who are superthin can make us think there's something wrong with our shape when it's actually a normal, healthy, female body with healthy percent of body fat. |
