I just discovered almond breeze's almond/coconut blend, the unsweetened one. I love it!! I drink it plain with 1 drop of ez-sweetz. Zero net carbs and wonderful! They don't sell it anywhere near me, but I found some on a road trip yesterday. I was so excited I bought four! Lol

I use the unsweetened almond milk in protein shakes or make chocolate milk with chocolate syrup I've made. I just used a 'regular' recipe for chocolate syrup and swapped out the sugar with splenda.

I saw a recipe to make almond milk really easily:

4 cups water
2 tbsp almond butter

Mix in blender. DONE. Shake before use. 50 calories per cup I think.

That is great - you could make organic very easily at a fraction of the cost. Thank you!!

This is were I found it: Everyday Vegan Girl: Calcium and DIY non-dairy milks

She makes milk using coconut butter, peanut butter, almond butter and cashew butter! I bet if you like almond breeze with coconut you could mix it up and create your own of that too

They may last longer before opening but, even tho I have used longer, the carton on most states to use within 7 days of opening.
