I just made the cinnamon pork skins. Oh my soooo good. I decided to also try and make them with Hershey unsweetened chocolate. Excellent sweet treat

put porkskins on cookie sheet and drizzled butter on them. Mixed cinnamon and splenda together. Poured mixture into a sealable bag dropped butterd skins into mixture and shake. Tada they are done. For chocolate I used Hershey unsweetened coco and mixed with splenda with the same process.

I wonder how they would be dipped in cocoa delight.

Mmmmm! I LOVE the cinnamon twists at Taco Bell, these may just be a great substitute!

Do you use plain salted pork rinds?

Pork rinds never appealed to me before, but DH has been buying hot and spicy pork rinds the last three nights. Last night, he came home late, so dinner was late. I was starving, so I snatched a pork rind out of his bag. I was surprised at how much I liked it. What brand of plain pork rinds do you use to make cinnamon rinds?

I use salted and whatever is cheap. No preference. Only one problem if you don't eat them fresh they get less crunchy. They aren't soggy tho. I made some Tuesday night and brought some to work on Wednesday. They were ok just not as crunchy.

Do they still have a pork flavor to them? I just can't imagine cinnamon, Splenda and pork combined tasting good. Going to try it soon though. :-)
