Oh, no! That thread title can never lead to good news, but wow. I just broke that bone last year, but wasn't even close to exercising or changing my WOE or anything back then, so a lot less challenging.

Hope it heals (heels? ) up quickly, and you find ways to work around it to stay on track. Maybe some hand weights and/or an ankle one to keep the other leg strong, or even an ankle one on this side while seated IF you and your medical team are okay with that?

If you're on crutches and live alone or are home alone a lot, those little kiddy shopping carts are great for transporting snacks and coffee and stuff back and forth from the kitchen. If you don't have kids, borrow one or a similar toy from friends' or co-workers' kids?

Encouraging a food addict to "just have one treat, so you'll stay motivated and on track" is like encouraging an alcoholic to just have one drink so they won't fall off the wagon.

OUCH! I've broken toes before, and it was a LOT more painful than I would have expected. Stay off your feet as much as possible and take care of yourself!

Oh my! I hope you are feeling better really soon. If you can stay on track you possibly could lose more weight than when you were exercising. I've heard it works

Oh no! That sounds terrible does it take a long time for toes and feet to heal? I'm sorry, that has got to be a huge bummer and hurt like heck.
I've only broken an arm/wrist, and that was when I was 10 yrs old... I can't imagine breaking any bones right now, I know I would handle it far less gracefully (i.e. flipping out, screaming, fainting etc) than I did as a child lol
Hugs!
