NO.

but 1/2 dozen a day...COITANLY!!! McD has a triple cheeseburger for $2.00, at least for the time being. I consumed 3 triples last night, with just 1/2 low carb pita for 3 of the nine discs. the others i ate naked (the burgers were naked, not me). It was yummy, but not filling. My burger lust is never quenched. Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

I pretty much do! I go to Wendys so much they automatically say, I know, no bun."
If I am not having a cheeseburger for dinner, I am almost always having something made with hamburger meat for dinner, such as tacos, meatloaf, or one of Linda Sue's casseroles. On her site, I always go straight to the ground beef section.

Probably not every day, but I do like them. McDoubles with extra pickles are my go-to fast-food burger. Even on Down Days I can eat one without a bun and be satisfied for hours!

I'm more of a pork lover than a beef lover. I could eat pork every day. Burgers and beef, eh, twice a week is good.

I have a burger obsession! I have been eating them several times per week (at the least) with bacon and homemade guacamole on top, yum! If I didn't have a DH and three kids to feed I would eat burgers everyday. They don't understand my obsession.

i had more for lunch, today.

we had a cookout at work. (sigh, not a freebie). for $5.51, i got 2 cheeseburgers, and 2 franks which i squeezed into 2 halves of a low carb Toufayan Pita. that will hold me over till my next carnivorous undertaking. FF

Burgers unlimited as I always say! I'm a big fan of the McDouble as well. I order with just onions, but I'm thinking about adding pickles. I read that the cheese has 1 carb per slice so that's not too bad. My serving is usually three McDoubles for lunch. As for cooking at home, pan-fried & seasoned beef is a delightful dish that occurs 2-3 times a week!

I probably could eat hamburgers every day but I think they are more of a treat when I don't have them quite that often. I stick chicken & fish in there, too.

...That said, I had one for dinner last night & will again tonight. Lots of onion & garlic & mustard & fresh veggies on the side.

I use 100% grassfed beef - it is on sale at the grocery store this week. They rang it up wrong & I caught it so I got it for free!

I don't know which ones, but some fast food hamburgers are laced with MSG. So you should check to see if your favorite FF does that.

If you can get grass fed beef, it's downright health food!!!!

blue cheese, bacon, tomato, mustard, pickle, burger. No bun. And a side of burger please. Mmmm. Now you know what I am eating for dinner. Nothing wrong with eating a burger a day. (New slogan? A burger a day keeps the dr away?)

In-N-Out Burger Protein Style (lettuce wrap) Cheeseburger is my favorite.
With no salt, no sauce, no mustard, no ketchup, onions, pickles on the side plus a slice of tomato.

Agreed. If there's a food I eat rarely I don't sweat the small details, but when it's food I eat several times a week I pay more attention to quality. Pastured beef is very nutritious.

Hey, GratefulParrot, if you want to do chili with beans and aren't eating super low carb, you can put canned black soybeans in your chili. I buy them at my local food co-op, throw a can into into my chili, and I really can't tell much difference between the black soybeans and higher carb beans, once you add the chili powder, tomatoes, etc. to the chili.

I don't eat burgers all the time (yesterday was a double dose of ground beef. I was so full from lunch that I didn't think I could eat dinner, but I did! LOL) but when I get them I make sure to get something I like. Every once in a while I'll get a low carb burger from Hardees (Carl Jr's) without ketchup or onion. Usually what I pick will be what's cheapest or what I have a coupon for.

I could. Hamburger patties and cheese is my go to quick meal. Sometimes I throw some onion slices in while I'm frying the patty. Yum

Ryiena, would the puny amount of onion most fast food places put on their hamburgers be that many carbs? I would think only maybe one or two, and I know they all add up but for the flavor and texture the onion adds it seems worth it if it's only a couple unless you are VVLC?

Nope, never been a burger fan. I used to only eat them when I went to someone's house and that is the only thing they served. Now I eat them occasionally by choice. Actually I was never much of a red meat fan at all, but I eat that much more than I used to.
