Menu Help! Please critique me!

Hi there.....I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on where I might improve my daily menu. Following is a sample menu (yesterday):

Bfast
2 eggs w/ 1 T shredded chedar, 1 T sour cream, 1 T salsa

2 cups coffee - total of 1 T coconut oil and 2 T HWC

Lunch
Salad w/ lettuce, cherry tomatoes, 1 T fresh peas, 1 T shredded cheese, chicken, ranch dressing

Dinner
2 sirloin patties w/ 1 C mushrooms cooked in butter

Snacks
1 nitrite free hot dog w/ mustard
cherry tomatoes, radishes, cucumbers

>80 ounces of water throughout the day!

Thanks in advance for your opinions!

If you are happy with your progress it should be good.
Looks like a good clean low carb menu to me.

For me it would be too many vegetables and dairy.
I think it would stall me.
When I first started this WOE I could eat your menu, but I have had to make
changes over time.
I do like the amount of fat you are getting.
That is always a challenge for me.
I also like how you are not eating any franken foods.
Hope this helps.

I would ditch the peas but other than that it looks good to me.

Everyone is so different, but for me i'd reduce the dairy a bit. I also started with 2 snacks a day and found that I really am only needing one snack (between B and L). But overall your menu looks pretty dandy already!!

Does the salsa have sugar in it? Check the label.
I think the peas are fine, but a lot of people can't eat them. (on a side note, most people can eat brocolli but it stalls me) You have quite a bit of dairy- but if it's working for you, congrats!

I'm the same way with broccoli (and onions and garlic which all have fructans which I figured out the hard way I'm intolerant to ).

Another suggestion would be if your coffee has caffeine to switch to one with no caffeine. I think it has the same affects on the body as sugar? (correct me if I'm wrong)

I second the reducing dairy suggestion.

Just curious about the "too much dairy' comments... all I see are 1 tbsp sour cream, 2 tsbp cream, and 1 tbsp shredded cheese. That seems like a pretty small amount of dairy to me ???

IDK about others but to me personally that's on the high side. But that's just how my body responds to it!

I agree! Atkins says you can eat 3-4 oz of cheese and 3 T of heavy or sour cream each day, and you're eating a less dairy than that. If you're losing, great--your dairy is fine.
