on peoples posts... where do people get them and how can they be put on your post? in your signature?

I think you might have to have a certain number of posts and/or days of belonging to the forum before you can add a ticker.

Actually putting the ticker in was really frustrating for me, and I finally ended up using an image instead of linking to the ticker site. This method is explained in the sticky, as well as the linking method. I think the mods are also very helpful if you need it.
