so frustrated...

I have to admit while I am so happy for everyone (and usually on a good day find motivation) who have been losing so much weight steadily ay this woe, I am finding myself down...
I feel like 25 more pounds to go-35 down- has been soooo slow....
I am 8 months in and feel like everyone else is losing but me. I tried cutting calories, mixing up foods to shake things up BUT it is starting to get to me. I want to lose faster...

I am just frustrated and need to vent-I have cut so many things from my diet and just wish at this point I was further along.

(btw- I just ate some cereal because I am feeling so negative-and annoyed)

Bad way to handle things I know...thanks for listening.

Luca - imagine 25 1lb sticks of butter, that is how much is off of your body right now! I know it can be frustrating but slow and steady wins the race. You've come so far hang in there, your body will let go of it, when it's ready.

You are doing great...Remember the closer to goal, the slower the weight loss because you are a smaller person. Smaller people don't need as much food as bigger people.

It's a common refrain. Many of us get about halfway there, maybe a little more, maybe a little less, then hit a wall. All you can do is keep tweaking and trying different things to get it moving again, to get to goal. But never, never, never give up. You are worth it!

Please don't feel like the Lone Ranger! I get frustrated too. The last time I did LC my weight just melted away. This time I started in early Nov. and I've only lost 25lbs! It's depressing especially when I look at the next 60lbs to go, jeez, I may reach my goal Next Year! It is hard to see others great successes and quick losses, but I have to tell myself that it took years to get in this mess, so it may take years to get myself out of it. Like I did with quitting smoking, One Day At A Time! It does get better, and when you have to go shopping for new clothes, well, that's the best feeling in the world. I feel better about today every time I remember how miserable I was yesterday.
