"Low Carb" Energy Drinks

yay or nay?

first day of this woe, and I know my hardest "habit" to break is going to be my daily blue, low carb Monster Drinks....

They make a zero carb Monster.... anyone have these and find it has not derailed your weight loss efforts???

I drink them quite a bit and never had a problem. I get the zero carb monsters and also sometimes use the little energy shots. Most of the diet energy drinks are sweetened with sucralose. I love them!!!

I bought a "low-carb" energy drink a few weeks ago and it still had 20g of sugar. Lol.

I stick to sugarfree Red bull and it's fine.

I used to be so addicted to these things and although I won't touch them now, they never stopped me from losing weight. Low carb or Zero carb never mattered.

Drank the blue Monster drinks for months with no issue.

Not fond of what's in it, but didn't hinder my weight loss at all.

I've used the LC Monsters, Zero Monsters, SF Rockstars and 5-hour Energy with no issues.

5 hour energy for me, no issues. Monster makes me act like a tweaker so I leave it alone.

When I lost 70lbs or so a year ago I would drink these religiously, like 3 a day, once I stopped drinking them, I started gaining my weight back, I think they are a tasty energy supplement and once I get the chance I'm gonna pick up a pack from sams club

At the height of my adrenal fatigue three years ago, I couldn't function without 2-3 of the diet Rockstars. I was addicted. While these didn't necessarily cause my adrenal issues, they definitely were a contributing factor. I wouldn't take a sip of one even if you paid me. Since you asked for input, that is mine. I would address the underlying issue of needing the artificial energy the drinks provide to begin with. Been there, done that, have the t-shirt! Hugs!

I drink sf red bull , love the taste and the kicker.

and Coconut Water when I can spare the carbs. Nothing like the energy you get from it!

I drink one Monster Absolute Zero everyday and have no issues with weight loss. I also occasionally treat myself to one of the monster rehabs (10 calories) I especially like the Rojo Tea

This. I have also been very addicted, and where I am not quite as opposed to them since I may still have them one or two times a month, I agree that it's important to address the WHY you need to have them.

That being said MiO just came out with an energy version, my husband tried it and really likes it, and I like how you can control the amount of stuff you put in your water.

I use the SF Rockstar energy drinks every now and then, when I'm feeling sluggish, or when I want one. I love the taste. They taste like pineapple soda to me. No problems here.
