Atkins Bars

Where is the cheapest place you've found these? I looked on the Netrition site and they seem higher than what I remember them being at Walmart I guess online there is more variety. I wonder if I wouldnt be better off just going to BJ's (wholesale club place)? Thoughts?

if you eat a lot of them, I guess they are pretty darned expensive no matter where you get them! you might try some of the recipes for making homemade protein bars.

as far as Netrition goes, do bear in mind they sponsor and pay for this site, so a small "tax" in buying things from them might be considered an appropriate show of appreciation by many of us!

This is the third time for me with this WOE. I always bought a bunch of Atkin's bars right away, ate a lot of them, stalled in weight loss, stopped eating them, forgot about them and found them later...expired. I still have 3 boxes in the cupboard. I stocked up when I saw them for sale at my local grocery store. They were about $4.50 per box, on sale (pretty rare). Bar for bar, the wholesale club prices are good, but only if you plan on eating them all and not letting them go stale like I did!!

Cheapest I have seen is Sam's club. But if you want variety you will need to shop around and you will pay more for those.

I dont eat many may be 1 a month. I usually keep one in my purse just in case.

We were in town once and a lady texted and asked us to meet her at some other people's house for an improptu game night. She said dinner was served and dont bring anything. Dinner was noodle filled casseroles and corn and rolls. I had been in town away from home (food) for six hours already. I was glad to have the Atkins bar with me because i was starving and we ended up staying out until 11. I wouldnt have had anything to eat if I did have the bar for emergencies.

I have bought them at Sams...though they have little variety. In the past,I've also bought them on Ebay with some success. On a side note...I have ceased consumption of these,as they were very addictive for me.My version of crack.

I'll agree about the comments for Sam's Club, followed by Wal Mart. They run about $1.00-1.50 per bar, usually.

Walmart. And I can usually find any kind I'm looking for. In which I mean the cinnamon bun bars.

I once found them in a local grocery store for $5.99 a box and then I used my $3.00 off coupons that I got from the Atkins company. I got 2 boxes. I thought that was a pretty good deal.
