I have dropped into the 142s twice this month but have gone back up the next day. I would like it if I could go below 143 and stay below 143 this next week. I am so close to the hundreds pounds lost. Getting to 142 would put me one step closer.

I would love to see any number below 220 as I have now been up and down between 220.0 and 220.8 for a week and think the break through must be around the corner.

Just hoping the 10s are a lot more loose. They fit pretty well now, so maybe that will happen soon.
I have another pair of 10s that fit smaller. Guess I should make my goal that I'll fit comfortably in them. Good luck this week, everyone !!! Last edited by rqw1968; 10-30-2011 at 10:16 AM.. |

My goal for this week is to drop 2 pounds by this coming Saturday. Since I am doing induction eating at the moment, I think I will be able to make it.

I weighed in this morning at 143.8. My goal for the week is 142. I am a little concerned about Halloween, though. All the candy that my kids bring in is so tempting!!!!

After totally screwing up for a while, I was back up to 238 last week. Got down to 229.4 which is what I'm starting this week at. I would like to see 225?
PS missed you guys. |

So my weigh in yesterday was 209.0 but then I blew it big time with a party with hubby last night which included pizza, candy(My kids had an early bit of trunk or treat with hubby's unit too many kit kats to resist) and copious amounts of mixed drinks and the scales shows it big time weighed in this morning at 212.4 and I feel every bit of that vodka and rum i consumed last night. But one night of falling off the wagon will not deter me my from my mission and jumping right back into it today. Already walked my son to school and home for 2 miles of walking albeit queasy but I did it. Think I am going to wait until the evening yoga class tonight something about a hangover and downward facing dog does not seem like a good idea. But I am going to try and do my ***** cat dolls work out video in a few when I lay my daughter down for a nap.
Welcome back MsWoods I have missed you . So with starting at 212.4 my goal for this week is ambitious but hopefully I can hit 207.? |

Weighed in at 15.5 this evening (1 pound up) after spending the afternoon with friends I haven't seen in two years. Two vodka tonics and a cup of ice cream did not help! It was so worth the laughs with friends, though! No regrets!
I came home and ran 4 miles just to be sure that I wouldn't regret it in a few days! ![]() |

I am entirely convinced that my body will not go below 125. It's some sort of mental barrier for me I think.
It took me 31 days to loose my most recent 4 pounds. The last two weeks I've only lost 0.6lb. If I get the scale to say 124 I'd be very, very happy. |

I think I may have started to sort out the problem, after my first two weeks I started adding almonds, then LC tortillas, and most recently (this is probably the culprit) 'sugar free' candies. I think I was reacting to the different artificial sweeteners, as I know I don't stall using aspartame and Sugar Twin.
As of Friday I started back on a stricter menu, and am hoping for a reward on the scale this week! We will see Friday. *Fingers Crossed* Thanks for the suggestion though, will definitly keep it in mind if my experiment doesn't pan out! |

I can't do sugar alcohols. EZ-Sweetz are fine, but aspartame seems to stall me.
Also, I think I may be allergic to Earl Grey tea (Oil of Bergamot). I've started breaking out in hives all over my neck. My mom was allergic to oranges later in life. Looks like I may be as well. I love EG. This stinks. It was my "go to" snack.Trying plain-Jane tea this a.m. If it's TEA I'm suddenly allergic to, I'm in serious trouble. :'( |

Hi all,
Weighed in for the first time in a month. I just assumed I was at target so I stopped checking but got down to 153.8 today. That puts me below my initial target of 155 and makes me think I might actually reach 150 at some point. |

I've had a couple BAD weekends and have been hesitant to weigh myself for the past couple weeks. I got on the scale this morning expecting 137 or so (+5), but actually got 131 (-2)! I'm ecstatic.. we have a Navy ball to attend on the 12th and the last time I fit in that dress, I was 126. Hoping to be 129 by the end of the week.

Pyroh, I'm so impressed that you can fall off the wagon and jump right back on. That has always been my downfall - one cheat and it's over for me, so I have to be especially vigilant. Good for you, girl!
Heather, don't even pay any attention to that scale if TOM is coming - it'll only drive you crazy. I dipped back into the 130's again this morning - 139.6. I hope it sticks, because I don't want to see the 140's again. |

I think part of the reason I am able to jump back on so quick for me is that when I first started low carbing I was doing 12 days on 2 days off so I always gave myself that little light of hope at the end of the tunnel. I switched from that to more straight lowcarbing back in August but I still allow myself smaller cheat days and further apart than before. My cheaty days are usually when I get frustrated with the scale and I see the same number for 4-5 days in a row because then when I switch back I see losses immediately and it reinvigorates me to keep it up don't know if it is a metabolism thing or more just mental for me but it seems to work. Now I just have to try to stay on the wagon until thanksgiving my next planned cheat day hoping to get down into Onederland no later than mid December. Also not sure if TOM is coming early (by 9 days) or whats up with me that may have been reason for that flatline but either way I am headed down again so hopefully it will just keep on going down.

I've been teetering between 180 and 181. I don't know if I'm going to make my goal for the week. Right now, I'd be happy to stabilize. I feel like my weight is starting to swing higher rather than lower. And I haven't been making the best choices. I'm still eating low carb but lots of late night eating, higher calories, not enough water or sleep and mostly crazy stress. All the things that work against weight loss.

Neapolita: Up the water. That will help. 1# is a very small fluctuation. I bounce up and down by 5#.
Could be because you exercised or just walked more than usual. Could be too much sodium. Could be inflammation from "cheating". Could also just be what's in your bowels. (Sorry to be gross, but it is what it is. )There could be lots of things that could be affecting you via the scales. Regardless, if you're bouncing up and down less than 5# and it isn't going any higher or staying at the higher weight, it can't be fat. ![]()
