Excessive sweating

I'm a long-time low carber. Been eating low carb loosely since the late 90's. Since Feb. of 09, I've followed a low carb plan exclusively with a couple ups & downs in between. I started induction again to get back on a better track as I was allowing myself too much eating freedom, which was putting a couple of pounds back on. So, I started eating induction only food last Sunday (lost those couple of pounds right away). Anyway, my problem today: so much sweating!!! Argh! I can't stand it! I have not exerted myself in any way today, just usual around the house stuff and running errands and I've sweated through my shirt in my pits! Y-U-C-K! It's not warm here, about 50 something degrees, but still the sweat. I even put on my husbands deoderant/AP this morning and I've still sweated through my shirt. Totally gross. Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a normal side affect of being in ketosis? It's new to me and has me grossed out.

Yeah, I've noticed this at night a lot, and when I exercise. But I just figured I'm getting to "that age". *sigh*

I have noticed this!

I NEVER sweat, and assumed it had something to do with my low thyroid. Even in the throes of major hot flashes...not a drop. But one month of LC, and my whole head is wet after mowing the lawn. It actually runs down my face and back. Gross!
