LC at Trader Joes?
If any of you shop here, can you share your "must have's" from Trader Joes? Im looking for new ideas and wanting to get a little healthier too! I live in the Southwest and so I know most of our grocers are different. But, feel free to share other finds...at other stores too!

I like to buy their mayo (it has no sugar like other mayos) and their almond meal. The price of the almond meal is pretty cheap, I think around $4. Whole foods wanted $13 for half that amount!

almond meal and mayonnaise. heavy cream. that's it. they specialize in "healthy carbs" and "this costs way too much."

They have sugar-free chocolate dipped almonds, and they're GOOD.
I like their buffalo chicken meatballs, only 1 gram per serving, and their chicken patties (these are both in the refrigerated entree area.) They also lots of kinds of frozen fish for good prices. |

Oh, yea I really love that New Zealand grassfed cheese, and the price is good for grassfed.
Also, the peanut butter, nuts, dairy products, and frozen veggies. Some items are quite reasonable. And I love the french green beans, great stir fried with bacon and mushrooms. I think TJ's is a fun place to shop, and I like the small size. |

I miss having a Trader Joe's around me!
This time of year? You've gotta try their rock shrimp, in the frozen seafoods section. It tastes a lot like lobster! |

I love these TJ threads.
I go there and, without a list, cannot find anything. But when I've got my list from here, I love it. Gotta try those rock shrimp! |

ok so im not VLC im eating paleo and do eat moderate carbs so my list may seem a little crazy.
I love there selection of raw nuts, raw almond butter, and dried (no added sugar) fruit They have amazing sausages There ground 80/20 ground beef is a great price I love there plantain chips and the seaweed chips (very low in carbs) they have great organic broths that i can have with not alot of ingredients OMG They have a garlic salsa that is worth fighting over, and also a green tomatillo sauce that is worth getting into a fight over.. oh and its not low carb, but if you need a cooler there sholder strap cooler is a great steal for $6.99

The shredded raw parmesan cheese (admittedly I haven't checked for starches) makes wonderful cheese crisps.
