Hubby packed me lunch tonight....
Lee's extra cripsy chicken, 2 pieces, potatoes and gravy, slaw and a biscuit.
What was he thinking!! And I'm proud of my will-power, I stopped at Subway and got a salad. His meal - 60 carbs (and that's not including the biscuit) or mine - maybe 5. And no, I'm not telling him! |

Well it was sweet of him to pack a lunch for you. Like they say it is the thought that counts. However, how in the world did he think that was low carb?

That is great will power!
My husband made a nice breakfast of pancakes and made extra in case I wanted them during the week...Such a sweet thought, but I think he might live under a rock if he thinks pancakes are low carb! |

Thanks Luca! The average day is a quick breakfast when I get up at 3pm (I'm a night-shifter) of low carb shake or bar, maybe sausage and scrambled eggs with cheese. Snack at work of nuts and/or cheese stick. Lunch at 11:30pm, salad or my low-carb 'noodle' concoction of shirataki noodles, some kind of sauce and either chicken, shrimp or meatballs. 2:30 am break, sometimes a Slim Jim. Lots of water! Home by 5am, asleep after the kids go to school and start it all over again at 3pm.
I've gotten a little stricter (sp?) since I have 3 weeks left to lose 12 pounds by my b-day and am trying to avoid snacking too much. And I'd say it's been steady, about 8-10 pounds per month, not fast enough for me, but I don't think I put it on that fast either. I hope not!
