Texas Roadhouse

Hubby took me to Texas Roadhouse for dinner last night (8 month anniversary he said)

Anywho, I looked online and they don't offer the nutrition info for their menu. Said they didn't want to get sued. If I told you what I had, could ya give me your best educated guesses as to the damage I may have done? I already know the sodium/msg was high.....I couldn't get enough to drink last night; but I'm also wondering if there might be any other sneaky ingredients that I dont know about (like sugar in the beans kinda thing)

My scale hasn't budged a single ounce in three days (up or down) and I find that kinda surprising. I was at least expecting some water retention.

Last night:
2 glasses unsweetened ice tea
1/2 salad, no croutons or tomatoes, 1 tbsp ranch
10 oz ribeye medium
1 skewer of grilled shrimp
green beans

Best guesses?? & Thanks!!!!

P.S. I love that place! Only go once in a while on a weekend when I usually eat what I want. Take a look at the roll carb count! And those are the best dang rolls ever!

That looks like a wonderful meal, and would be well within my plan. THe tea should be fine. The salad likewise, though sometimes ranch may have some sugar depending on who made it. The ribeye should be fine unless they used some sort of rub on it, and even then it won't be much. Same with the shrimp and beans.

What kind of rolls are those? 0 carbs isn't likely for a roll. Didn't look at everything else, but I also wouldn't trust 0 carbs for Ranch Dressing. And where do they get their 0 carb potatos? Don't think I would be trusting any of those carb counts.

Well, looks like I misinformed you! I only glanced at a couple of things. Sorry about that. Like somebody else said, your menu doesn't look like many carbs.

I eat there every few weeks and never have a problem. I usually have the Oven Roasted Chicken, House Salad W/Ranch no croutons and extra cheese, and a baked sweet potato with just butter. I also eat some of the peanuts while waiting. I don't really track my carb count but I always still lose at the same rate when I eat there.

If people hadn't been joking about the 0 carb rolls, I probably wouldn't have noticed either because I would have automatically checked out the items I would order. At first I thought they came up with some type of roll like an oopsie roll, and was interested to find out what it was. Then I realized other carb counts were obviously wrong too.

Great place! I have found nutritional info online as someone else mentioned. Don't know how accurate it is but it's a start.
I like the Roadkill, grilled chicken caesar salad w/o croutons, their steaks of course, and the green beans as well as the veg. medley which has lots of butter.
