I'm on a high fat diet

I think this is what I'm going to start saying to people. Nothing else, just "Oh, yeah, I lost a lot of weight following a very high fat diet."

Which is true.

And I think I'll enjoy saying it.

I'm tired of saying "low-carb," I think I'll change it up a bit while still remaining accurate.

"So, what kinds of things do you eat?"

"well, mostly butter and whipped cream."

"No fruits and vegetables?"

"Is bacon a vegetable?"

Hahaha.

Alternatively, you could just tell people your diet is a secret, and you signed a nondisclosure agreement preventing you from discussing it further than you already have. I bet that will drive people crazy.

Yes! I'm on the "spy diet." Only a handful of renegades are allowed to follow it. You're not one of them.

I've gotten to the point where it doesn't matter what I say, they all start talking about grains again. I can say, "I eat mostly vegetables and protein," and they talk about grains. Or I can say, "I eat low-carbohydrate, all the new research shows its very healthy," and they start talking about grains.

Anything that doesn't support them eating bread, they won't listen to.

So now, I've decided I'm going to really lay it out there.

High-fat diet. Mostly saturated. Deal with it!!

If I'm asked,I always say I'm on a high fat diet. Those that know I have MS,ask me if that's why I eat high fat. I say mostly because it makes me feel fantastic, wonderful and sexy. And it's great for the mylein sheath that protects my brain.!
