Do you guys count calories eating under 20 or because your carbs are soo low calories don't count???

I have 6 weeks to drop a lot of weight before I go on vacation and attend some weddings. Maybe this could help???

I dont count calories. I eat (usually) 2 meals a day and am quite satisfied with that. When I have tracked my food on ****** I am around 1400 calories but I dont do that too often. I just let hunger be my guide and stick with the foods that are on Induction. When I was on a 'regular' diet- I was constantly hungry and I mean constantly- but hunger really diminishes when eating primarily proteins and fats- it works!

I don't really count calories, but I use *********** to track my carbs and it also tracks calories. I usually average 1200-1400, but some days like today I don't even hit 1000, and one day last week it was around 1700. Oddly when I was on calorie restricted diets I was starving on 1200 calories, now it's plenty.

I don't count calories either. I also track my food on *********** and I checked my calorie counts for the past few weeks and they are ALL over the place. I never really pay attention to them. Now it's got me thinking.....lol.

I dont count calories, just carb. I have a good sense of where I am carbs-wise. Calorie-wise no. But I tend to eat lower fat too so I guess I tend to eat lower calorie as well.

I eat less than 20 grams Carb per day, and don't count calories. Weight loss is very slow, but steady. I had to resign myself to the fact that it won't come off quickly, and that's okay. I feel great!

I don't count calories; it seems like I don't eat a lot of food when eating LC, so I naturally don't consume a lot of calories. When I was eating regular HC foods, I would eat all day, and I know that because of that, my calorie intake had to be very high. Another reason why I am loving the LC lifestyle!!

I usually average around 20-25g net carbs/day. I subtract fiber and sugar alcohols from my carb intake, and I count carbs from eggs and some meats as well (I know some don't count carbs in meats and eggs). I also try and keep my calories between 1200-1500 just because I have messed up my metabolism from 6+ years of ED, so its harder for me to lose.

However with that said, some days I go over my cals and carbs and others I go under, but at the end of the month it usually averages out.

Since 4/05 I have lost 22lbs. So not bad.

I'm interested in this. I'm thinking of doing a once/weekly refeed too.

i have been at 20-25 net carbs most days since december 11th. i am down 45lbs (hope to say 50lbs by next week). i am battling binging and fear of success so i would have lost more by now if i didn't set myself back a few times. i have been on plan "perfectly" with diet and exercise since monday now it is friday. i won't weigh until next friday, but i know it will be good news. my stomach already feels flatter and i am not craving sugar. why would i give this up for a cupcake?

work had a pizza party today. i took the toppings off of three pieces of "the works" pizza and put it on a salad with ranch dressing. yummy!

i am back on track and next week i will do between 15-20 carbs a day and stop eating by 5 or 6 in the evening. work out at least 4 days including weights. i love zumba!

i was wearing a size 16/18 in december and today a size 12 pants was so big on me! it was great. i do wear between 10 and 12 pants now. my waist is so much smaller than my bum the size varies.

plan on staying at 20 or below carbs until i am a size 6/8. i say size because i am doing weights and so sometimes the scale goes higher but my size goes smaller. it is beautiful. i am beautiful. and so are you all. keep up the good work everyone. we are worth it!

I started September 1st 2011 at 310lbs 6"1 and have been at 20 -25 a day for 6 months now. I lost 55lbs thus far, but now I have been getting depressed because it seems like it stop. I haven't lost (or gain) weight in the last 4 weeks now. I was wondering if I should move up in carbs or just keep trying 20-25.

Also note that the last 3 months I haven't really exercised like I was the first 3months.
I was going at least 4 days a week to the gym and doing cardio and light lifting. I didn't want to gain to much muscle at first.
I want to get down to 200 before I i start lifting harder. So any suggestion? I would guess returning to the gym is what most will tell me

I stay at 20 net carbs per day or less. I've been doing this for the four months I've been eating this way. I will up my carbs eventually but probably not till maintenance. I don't count calories but I know they do matter to me. If I eat a 12 oz. steak I know I will have a gain. I just try to watch my portion sizes.
