How much did you lose in your first week??

i was just curious how much you all lost in your first week? i am coming up the end of my first week, trying to follow the Atkins but im not being too rigid with it, i mean i will have a spoon of Cool whip everyday, and probly not eating as many vegies as i should, i eat a salad with some meat for lunch and some mixed vegies with dinner, but havent been eating any for snacks, i think im still doing alot better than i did, as i would have bread a few times a day chocolate milks, chocolate candy. And im already feeling much better, i was never a vegie eater so i think im getting better.
i weighed myself this morning and have lost 3lbs this week not fantastic but im happy with it, i havent done much exercise either, so hopefully i will lose more when i start, pulling out the 30 day shred tonight lol

So how about all of you?

I was very strictly on Induction. I lost 7 lbs Wk1 and 7 lbs wk2 so 14 lbs total for Induction.

I was not super strict the first week, and I lost 4 pounds. 2 pounds the second week.

I'm not following a strict Atkin's Induction, rather I just cut carbs to less than 25g or so and I lost about 4 lbs the first week.

Thanks but that was when I was diligent. Now I eat off plan every now and then. I jumped off the wagon LOL So I basically regained 19 of the 25 lbs I lost LC-ing. I'm bad. :blush:

I lost 10 the first week and 5 the next.

THEN I ate what I wanted in celebration so lost nothing for the next 2 weeks! LOL..

I am still eating at induction really and have lost 29.? in 67 days.

I lost 7.5 lbs my first week and 3.5 the next. Since then I've been all over the place (I have jumped off the wagon a couple times, but always got back on.) Down 2 lbs one week, up .5 lb the next. Sigh. The weeks I was very strict was when I averaged about 2 lbs lost.

I lost maybe 3 the first week. Then by the end of the second week I had lost a total of 11 lbs. I was very strict with what I ate, and I drank lots of water.

Oh, and remember, everyone has a different level of metabolic resistance. So, even when given the same daily menu, not every person will lose the same. Just a thought...

I don't remember exactly, but I can say that any time I've changed the way I eat with the purpose of losing weight, I lose about 7-9 lbs the first week. It was no different for me doing low carb.

vegetables have a lot of carbs, more than you would think if you haven't worked for awhile weighing portions and looking it up. you are probably eating quite enough even too much for induction, but the only way to tell is to... weigh it and look it up! good luck.

wow you all did really well!!

If you dont mind me asking what scales do you use? i was using my wii fit to weigh myself but decided to go get a scale (the Biggest Loser one) and i weight a good 2-3 lbs more on the scale than the wii fit!

Start Date: 12/26/13 for my third go-round
I just finished my first week and I've lost 10 pounds. I've done a pretty strict clean induction up until this point. I think if you follow the rules as written, it's a guarantee you will lose. I plan on staying at induction levels for a few months at least.

I'm nearing the end of my second week (only weighing weekly). For week one, I lost 12.5lbs - being very strict with going "by-the-book".

I started Atkins induction on 2/7 and lost 19lbs the first week and 1lb the next. I'm staying pretty close to induction levels of carbs now because I have a lot of weight to lose. Total lost so far - 28lbs.
