I remember last year Cleochatra made a thread about these. I don't know why I remember that Lol.

I never liked peeps in general so I'll pass, but cool to know they are out there.

that stuff is JUST the same as sugar as far as my blood sugar goes. I have read this is NOT a diabetic thing, that people who get really fat (excuse me, just being concise here!) normally digest sugar alcohols JUST FINE. it's the skinny people who don't need them where they work like they are said to. but it's another "your mileage may vary" thing.

Holy crap. PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Peeps are a food that I eat only at easter.

AND pumpkin is a vegetable I eat only at thanksgiving.

And, egg nog is a food I have only on christmas.

Now all my holiday favorites are low carb. Sometimes I think this world was given to me

Peeps were one of the things that I loved about Easter so when I saw the sugar free ones last year I bought them and did not like them at all. The "marshmellow" part just seemed off.

Thats actually kinda funny....I didn't like them much before. I like the sugar free ones though, they seem less sweet.

Happy for those of you who enjoy Peeps, but if I ever splurge on SF candy it will be something with chocolate & coconut.

FromAbove,

THAT'S SO SWEET. You're such a good wife:blush: I would love a low carb basket haha. I never liked peeps either, that's why they were eaten only once a year. Many of my poor food choices were in the sake of being festive. I've always been a sucker for festivities. If I could get a sugar free chocolate bunny with a roll of sugar free peeps, and maybe some of those tacky easter egg bracelets, and some bubbles... that would be perfect. I may just make myself a low carb basket. I'd give one to my boyfriend, but he hates sugar free anything.

I'm bummed...sugar free isn't enough for me. There are soooo many sugar free things I still can't eat because the carbs are too high. As far as my body is concerned...carbs are carbs and these chickies have 23.
