Torani's Salted Caramel Sugar Free Syrup!

Hey all!

I was browsing for sugar free syrups yesterday. (I have several varieties of Davinci's that rock!) But I want some more!

I was looking thtough a website that sells sugar free syrups, coffee, and tea supplies (I can't say the name, cuz well they sell stuff) But they have pretty good prices for both Torani and Davinci's.

Long story short! They had a new flavor of Torani's Sugar free salted caramel!

I didn't even see it on the Torani site but this company is already offering it.

During the holidays Starbucks was pushing their Salted caramel hot chocolate which I wanted to try so bad (but didn't) This way I can make my own at home and sugar free!!!

I can also see myself making salted caramel lattes, and frappes!

I can't wait to order it! Just wanted to share my little find with everyone!!

PS. Do they ever offer new Davinci's flavors??

I use a lot of caramel syrup, but I can't wrap my mind around "salted caramel." Did you have it at Starbucks? What was it like -- caramel with salt?

I didn't have it, but I saw it and thought it would be something I would like.
I love the combination of sweet and salty, like a chocolate covered pretzel, or trail mix. I think the salted caramel might taste like caramel corn?? Sweet and salty and caramell-y.

HTH!

This looks tasty. I would like to make a sf version of the salted caramel hot chocolate Starbucks serves.

I feel like this is a stupid question, but is it possible that it's just salt added to regular caramel syrup?

Starbucks puts caramel syrup in virtually every drink, it's their secret ingredient. I was very happy to figure this out because now I don't have to take the kids to Starbucks for them to have their favorite Starbuck drinks.

Starbucks only puts caramel syrup in drinks labeled as such and you can always ask or check online for ingredients.

Starbuck's regular hot chocolate has caramel syrup in it as a default ingredient. At least it does at the one we go to.

It's usually made with vanilla & mocha syrups must be something your local ones does. Darn now I want some sf hot chocolate-I'm cold.

I have seen that "sweet and salty" theme on a number of products lately. I do think you could just add salt to whatever you make with the regular caramel syrup. Heaven knows I don't need another of those bottles! I already use my second oven as a "sugar free syrup cellar" with 6 bottles each on the three oven racks! LOL Alphabetical, of course, but I still have to think in the mornings when I'm making my muffins.

That title got such an excited reaction out of me that it made my husband jump and get massacred on his XBox game.

Thank you for posting that! It's nice to know there's options and variety if the need for chocolate hits. I used to be a huge fan of SB's salted caramel hot chocolate.

Hmmm I guess you could add salt to regular caramel syrup, I dont know if it would taste the same or if I would know how much salt to add. Plus i'm out of caramel so I still want one!

I bought an eight-bottle wine rack, just for my SF syrups.
