Instructions on how to add a ticker into your signature (pictures included!)

I just found this info, had sent a request through the site as to why I could not have a ticker. I've been a member for awhile but do not have enough posts. If anyone sees this post, you can disregard my request for an answer because I just found it. No worries, I will wait until I have enough posts.

I see you had added your photo to your profile picture spot instead of the avatar spot. Members have to areas they can add photos.. the Avatar shows on every post you make while the profile photo only shows when another member clicks on your profile. I went ahead and added your photo into your avatar spot for you. If you need additional help, please let me know.

I did everything right - used the link from ticker factory, etc. , but when I update my weight loss on ticker factory, the changes DO NOT SHOW up in my signature.

What's wrong? I just re-entered the whole thing, but I'm sure it will happen again.

If you are changing it on the ticker factory site check to see if the http addy is exactly the same.. if it changed then it is something with the TickerFactory site. This has happened to others as well. You may just have to add the new link each time.. I know its an extra step but it doesn't really take very long to do that. Sorry for that hun.. It is definately something on their end if the address is changing.

Let us know or you can also PM me.. I can check more into it in the meantime!!

Members get signatures after 25 days and 25 posts.. You don't have much longer to get your signature.

Your ticker isn't showing because the file isn't posted right so just a red x is showing.. If you want to PM me your ticker or send it to me via email (It may work if you attach it in an email) I will be happy to add it for you!

Cindy-Lou I read your post and I am so happy that you have found this website. I just found it a few days ago myself. I am a breast cancer survivor 8 years now, so I understand weight gain from meds. I was in a wheel chair in 2004-2006 and I put on 120 pounds during that time due to meds and being immobile. My doctors have put me on so many diets the past several years and nothing seemed to work. I developed severe sleep apnea and heart problems so, a few months ago my doctors suggested me to consider gastric bypass, so after much prayer, I had the WLS on August 3, 2012 and since then I have lost 46 pounds. I am on a low carb, wheat free and gluten free diet. I purchased a book called "Wheat Belly" and I am following that diet. I am doing very well now after my surgery and finding this website has been a blessing. I hope to meet a lot of new friends on here as I continue my journey to a thinner healthier body. I pray that you will be blessed with much success in your journey as well. You are a survivor and I know you can get rid of those 80 pounds. I know that just losing 46 pounds has made me feel so wonderful. I have a lot of weight left to lose but I am well on my way. I hope you continue to post so that we can be friends on here. I went to user control panel and I can't find the spot to edit signature? Hmmmm, this may be a situation where it's RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE, yet I can't see it? Or do I need a bunch more posts before I can have a siggy?

Members gain access to their signature when they have 25 posts and have been a member for 25 days.. You have a few more posts to go.. To add a ticker you need 60 posts. If after you hit 25 posts and gain access if there is something you need added, you can either PM me or contact me at cherilynn8@hotmail.com and I will be happy to add it for you.

YES! the addy is exactly the same, but I still have to re-enter it every time to get it to update. Is there any fix??? Sorry it took me so long to see your response!

Unfortunately it may be something on the ticker factorys end because when you update the ticker the http addy should be exactly the same but with the new ticker attached. When you update your ticker check to see if they give you a different address to it.. if they do then it is definately a problem on their site. You will get used to adding the ticker each time however so it should only take you a moment to access your profile and add the new address. Sorry for the inconvenience!!!
