Someone here mentioned the pre-cooked Hormel bacon is good. I haven't seen it yet though. Might get a good deal on bottled water.
Chicken drummettes and steak might be a good deal. Whole pork tenderloin usually goes on sale this time of year. |

The last time I was at Sam's I got a big container of their organic spring mix salad, feta cheese, some chicken sausages, rotisserie chicken, a bulk pack of 1oz jerky packs, and a giant container of cottage cheese. The cottage cheese isn't induction friendly, but I remember it being a really good deal. Their house brand of chicken salad is really good, it's a little carby for the small serving size but would make a super fast breakfast or lunch: Nutrition Facts Serving Size: 1/3 cup Amount per Serving * Calories 310 Calories from Fat 234 % Daily Value * * Total Fat 26g 40% * Saturated Fat 0g 0% * Monounsaturated Fat 0g * Polyunsaturated Fat 0g * Trans Fat 0g * Cholesterol 0mg 0% * Sodium 0mg 0% * Potassium 0mg 0% * Total Carbohydrate 6g 2% * Dietary Fiber 0g 0% * Sugars 0g * Protein 0g 0% I think Sam's sometimes has the tiny bell peppers that look like jalapenos but are sweet. We made poppers with those instead hot peppers one time and they came out soooo sweet and caramelized-y in the oven. If they have them, grab them! Cut off the stems, scoop out the insides, stuff with cream cheese, wrap in a half slice of bacon, secure with a toothpick and bake until the bacon is crisp (I do 425 for about 20-30 minutes).

I enjoy their individual-sized salmon squares; they sell them already vacuum-sealed in their own individual plastic wrap, and you can get a big bag of them; thaw and cook as needed; I melt a bit of butter and pour it on, then shake a bit of carribean jerk seasoning, and they are a quick, delicious side for lunch or dinner!!

A bit pricey but I splurged and got some of their frozen appetizers to use as a meal (didn't feel like cooking that night). One was steak bites wrapped in bacon, the other was shrimp, pepper jack cheese wrapped in bacon. Yum.....and done in 12 minutes. I paired it with some little smokies. It was a finger food dinner.

Ditto on the Tyson chix wings (Lime). I like their 2 lb bag of raw pecans. They're $12-13)
