Ditto. Sara lee delightful bread. I think it says "45 calories and delightful" on the bag. They have three diff kinds, one is lower in net carbs than the other two. I don't eat it but buy it for my four year old.

I am able to find Country Kitchen Light Wheat Bread that is only 35 calories/0g fat/6 gr. carbs/2 gr protein per slice. I use so little that I just keep it in the freezer and take out pieces when needed

I have found that I still perfer my Joseph's lowcarb flax/wheat tortillas and pita bread though!

Yep. One of those has only 9g net carbs for TWO slices. Wally World and Kroger carry it. (Top shelf in our Wally World.) Check the labels though. All 3 loaves look the same, but the carb count is WAY different. I love it and can't wait until I can have a sandwich with one after I reach goal. I'll be able to maintain with 9g nc per sandwich and still feel like I'm cheating.

I second (or third or fourth) Sara Lee Delightful. I think it is 8 or 9 net carbs (-fiber) for two slices. And it tastes good too.

i like the healthy living brand wheat bread. one slice is 5 net carbs and 35 calories. i recently discovered this bread and was so excited to have a grilled cheese for the first time in over a year! i still use my trusty wraps for any other sandwich but feel like i'm cheating when i make a piece of cinnamon toast with butter and a splenda/cinnamon mix. it's great

And, I should add: IT'S SOFT !!! Not super-dry like other other whole-grain breads. I love it ! It has plenty of flavor too.
