My first convert!!!!

He called me this morning and asked me to meet him at the grocery store and help him shop. And, he's going to pay me for my gas and trouble. Well, the first thing he's going to do, according to my instructions, is get the Atkins book and read it cover to cover. I told him which one to get. He's also going to join this website.

THEN we meet at the grocery store. I have already been talking with him about what NOT to eat, and what not get get his daughters (Koolaid) and he's already stopped the Koolaid. Well, small steps. I told him he's going to have to change his whole mentality of food and fast food.

He's got a large circle of friends and family who are going to be eyewitnesses to his revolution and I'm totally excited about this.

He got turned down for bypass surgery so he's willing to try this.

That is extremely exciting! If it helps, tell him an online friend of yours was *this* close to RnY, gave Atkins a shot, and lost 100 pounds in about 6 months. Believe and you shall receive!

What's RnY? He's really obese and it's not a stretch to say he can lose 100 pounds by New Years if he follows the diet strictly.

That's the gastric bypass. If he's a d00d (he is) and morbidly obese (he might be) he could definitely lose 100 in 6. My dad lost 80 in 6 with bed rest on Atkins after he broke his back.

even after the surgery, there are always complications. also, u still have to learn how to eat. I gave the thumbs down to bariatric surgery, each time some Dr. asked me. If u can persuade him to join our site, he will get the added support. I am certain he will lose the 100 lbs, and safely, and enjoy it as well. Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI
