I usually have 1 square of Lindt 90% which I can't say I love but today I got 85% on sale and had 1 square and it felt like heaven. I think I will splurge on the tad more carbs from now on. 9 yr old DD wanted a taste so I broke off a tiny piece. You should have seen her face!! But she bravely let it melt and swallowed it.

OMG!!! I read this and just had to try it but instead of vanilla and splenda I used my French Vanilla Stevia. It was awesome! But I only got about 2 bites and the kids polished it off! My 20yo dd told me to make it everyday! Thanks for the idea!!!!!

World Market 99%! (Highest Lindt I have personally seen is 90%.)

I forget the proportions, but mash up an avocado with cocoa powder and sweetener (you can use AS, but we use honey, perhaps 1 or 2 teaspoons out of the 2 tablespoons the recipe calls for). It takes a bit of work (exercise!) but when sufficiently mixed it is almost impossible to identify the avocado as the base. It will come out as a very thick chocolate "pudding", a bit of heavy cream will thin the consistency and make it taste even more decadent.

i use a hand mixer for the chocolate avocado pudding.

1 avocado, 2-3 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 1/3 c. unsweetened chocolate almond breeze and ez-sweetz to taste... very good. i think i'll whip up some heavy cream to top it next time!

Wow! That sounds exotic! Tell us more please...

And what instrument do the 3 chords apply to?

I have some Lindt Excellence 70% cocoa bar. Its dark chocolate and it has 11 net carbs for a 4 square serving. The squares are big so I usually just have 1 square for 2.75g net carbs.

(You can have the 80-99% for less carbs but it is too bitter for me)

the pudding is really good. i tried the first time just by hand and fork...and it was an epic fail! you have to get the avocado really smooth (very very ripe works best). the hand mixer works, but a food processor or blender is ideal. the almond milk makes the texture just perfect and helps in the mixing process. i usually add the cocoa after the avocado/almond milk mix is blended and smooth.

i plan on getting mint extract and making a chocolate/mint pudding dessert next time. leaving the mint layer just green like the avocado...i'll report my findings.

hahaha it's referencing a guitar, but i can't take credit for it...it's a weezer lyric. i'm an easy to please, simple lady...so it was fitting.

I could die for chocolate mint. I have a bottle of vodka (unopened at least 6 months) waiting for me to get a pound of ginger for infusion. A pound of mint would probably work quite nice as well. (Last experience with commercial mint extract was rather bleh.)

It was good. I only had one bar, it's really small. But I've been having tummy problems since I woke up. Could it be because of the chocolate?

Yes. It is the artificial sweetener. Gives a lot of people GI issues.

That is so weird. Me too. One day it just occurred to me that I had not had nor wanted any chocolate in weeks. I had gone on a strict grocery budget during Lent, trying to slash my grocery bill by half, and it went off the list and stayed there. Then a few days ago I realized I had no craving for it anymore.

The only time I get chocolate cravings is when I read threads like this!

Such threads have lead me to olives, peanut butter, pork rinds and nuts. I need to skip them but am afraid I'll miss something!

Made this Sunday evening with almond flour and it was amazing. My subs:
Add 1/8 t baking powder
used a whole egg
used AS rather than sugar (duh?!)
used HWC for the milk
no choco chips (think hubby ate my LC ones thinking they were regular ones)
added a few pecans
I baked mine in a 750 watt oven for 3 minutes.
I ate half and saved the rest for later. It was just as good heated up the next night.

It is one of the best tasting LC things I've ever made.

This is an old thread but I want to add mine

I take magnesium! It works for chocolate cravings, if none of the above suggestions are working for ya

I used to be a chocolate fanatic, esp around PMS time but not so much anymore.. not that I don't enjoy it every once in a while.

But the magnesium works, try it!

So many here have mentioned Coconut Bark. I LOVE coconut. I assume this is something you make? Tried to search it out here, but couldn't find anything specific to the bark in the titles of the threads thrown up.

Could someone tell me, or link me, to the recipe for this? Sure would appreciate it.

coconut cake

I wish I could give the exact measurements, but I make something like a minute muffin only I use about 1/8 cup coconut flour, coconut sugar free syrup, baking powder, an egg, and dutch cocoa. I nuke for a minute and it makes a lovely chocolate coconut flavor.
